Fresh Skin For Days With Shriya! Follow Her Skin Care Regimen💆
When I start my day in the morning I always say to myself who needs Botox when you have bananas?
Home Made DIY Mask!
That’s right: You can use a banana as an all-natural, homemade face mask that moisturizes your skin and leaves it looking and feeling softer. Mash up a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste, then gently apply it to your face and neck. Let it sit for ten to 20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.
Another popular mask recipe calls for 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey (a natural acne remedy), and one medium banana. I have also have started using the handmade organic African charcoal soap and I cannot stress enough how well it works at exfoliating the skin and it even helps In reducing Hyperpigmentation. Once my morning routine is completed I make sure it is followed by buckets of with green tea, lemon ginger cucumber water, lots of freshly pressed juices because we need to take care of our skin from not only the outside but the inside too.
Post Makeup Skin Care!
After a long shoot, it is a must that I look after my skin, all the heat from the heavy lights and the makeup can accelerate the aging process of the skin so as makeup remover I use a combination of Baby oil along with Almond oil and a dash of fresh milk. After having removed all the makeup I try and relax my skin by apply vitamin E oil followed by a facial massage technique that promises to reduce sinus pressure, puffiness and fluid retention while promoting lymphatic drainage and allowing your skincare to penetrate deeper.
What’s My Secret To Great Skin?
The secret to great skin is a happy and relaxed mind so I make sure I take out time to do a few breathing exercises followed by some meditation. Then right before going to bed, I prepare my overnight mask by making a runny paste by mixing turmeric with milk I then apply it all over my face using a brush. The next day in the morning I make sure that I rinse it off with cold water. I prefer DIY masks as I can ensure that they are organic and I have to change them up whenever I feel like it. Also, I love them because they let me tap into the crazy scientist side of my personality where I love to mix difference concoctions to see what happens.
